Overview

This qualification is suited to those working as administrators and project officers. In this role, individuals use well-developed skills and a broad knowledge base to apply solutions to a defined range of unpredictable problems and analyse information from a variety of sources. They may provide leadership and guidance to others with some limited responsibility for the output of others.

Eligibility

  • Over 18 years old at the time of enrolment
  • Year 12 completion or successful completion of IAMA’s LLN (language, literacy and numeracy assessment)

This unit describes the skills and knowledge required to plan, draft and finalise complex documents. BSBHRM531: Coordinate health and wellness programs

This unit describes the skills and knowledge required to coordinate programs with a health and wellbeing focus. The unit addresses coordination of the range of programs that would typically be associated with health and wellbeing such as stress management, smoking cessation, exercise and Employee Assistance Programs (EAPs). The unit applies to individuals who take responsibility for managing staff health and wellness programs or activities. It also has particular relevance for managers of human resources or diversity programs, frontline managers and specialist consultants responsible for promoting a balance between work demands and personal life. This unit describes the skills and knowledge required to undertake a minor project or a section of a larger project. Classroom based (Face to Face)

Face to Face classroom base IAMA Canterbury campus Minimum of 20 hours’ weekly study requires for 40weeks (1200 hours) Additionally, student is expected at least 10 hours of individual study per week not limited to research, learning activities and assessment activities utilizing the facilities and resources available at IAMA Assessment is based on competency (the ability to demonstrate specific skills) and is undertaken through a combination which may consist of classroom observation, discussion, case studies, role plays & written assignments and the work placement.

Online Distance based learning

When you study online with IAMA, you can:

  • Study from anywhere, when it suits you best.
  • Graduate with the identical qualification as an on-campus student.
  • Get comprehensive support from teachers via phone and email.
  • Access course material online.
  • Interact with teachers and fellow students via platforms like virtual classrooms, forums and video calls.
