Overview
This qualification reflects the role of individuals who apply knowledge, practical skills and experience in leadership and management across a range of enterprise and industry contexts. Individuals at this level display initiative and judgement in planning, organising, implementing and monitoring their own workload and the workload of others. They use communication skills to support individuals and teams to meet organisational or enterprise requirements. They plan, design, apply and evaluate solutions to unpredictable problems, and identify, analyse and synthesise information from a variety of sources.

- Over 18 years old at the time of enrolment
- Year 12 completion or successful completion of IAMA’s LLN (language, literacy and numeracy assessment)
- Ability to demonstrate core skills and capabilities to a level appropriate to the course.

BSBHRM531: Coordinate health and wellness programs
This unit describes the skills and knowledge required to coordinate programs with a health and wellbeing focus. The unit addresses coordination of the range of programs that would typically be associated with health and wellbeing such as stress management, smoking cessation, exercise and Employee Assistance Programs (EAPs).
The unit applies to individuals who take responsibility for managing staff health and wellness programs or activities.
It also has particular relevance for managers of human resources or diversity programs, frontline managers and specialist consultants responsible for promoting a balance between work demands and personal life. The individual may not be directly involved in delivering the programs.

This unit describes the skills and knowledge required to manage the performance of staff that are direct reports.

Classroom based (Face to Face)
Face to Face classroom base IAMA Canterbury campus
Minimum of 20 hours’ weekly study requires for 40weeks (1200 hours)
Additionally, student is expected at least 10 hours of individual study per week not limited to research, learning activities and assessment activities utilizing the facilities and resources available at IAMA
Assessment is based on competency (the ability to demonstrate specific skills) and is undertaken through a combination which may consist of classroom observation, discussion, case studies, role plays & written assignments and the work placement.
Online Distance based learning
When you study online with IAMA, you can:
